Making the Most of Your NASCI Membership
The Society is committed to providing members with valuable information and a support structure to guide you through breakthroughs in cardiovascular imaging, especially CT and MR, and to improve the practice through educational and informational efforts.
For the past 36 years, NASCI has been dedicated to promoting study and research in cardiovascular imaging; contributing to the active continuing education of its membership and the medical community; holding annual meetings; and to the encouragement, development and dissemination of knowledge regarding cardiovascular imaging.
More recently, efforts have been directed toward other areas that impact your practice and profession, such as the development of a structured reporting template for cardiac CTA.

An online subscription to the International Journal for Cardiovascular Imaging for all dues paying members. The journal is published bi-monthly and is indexed in all major medical databases. NASCI strongly encourages its members to consider the Journal for publication of their original work. The official NASCI Journal provides a scientific forum for everyone working in the field of cardiac and cardiovascular imaging. The International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging publishes basic and clinical communications (research articles, review articles, technical notes and editorial comments) dealing with the design, development and evaluation of imaging methods used to study cardiovascular diseases; these imaging techniques include MR, CT, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. The Journal is aimed at cardiologists and radiologists as well as nuclear medicine physicians, engineers, physicists and informatics specialists with an interest in cardiovascular diseases and imaging.
The opportunity to serve in leadership positions and on committees as well as invitations to present at NASCI conferences.
Discounted conference rates for the international forum for the exchange of information for physicians and scientists who are actively involved in cardiovascular imaging. NASCI members are Radiologists, Cardiologists, Physicists and Residents, Fellows and Trainees, each with expertise to share, cases to discuss and questions to raise. The Society accomplishes its goals by providing a means to its 500 plus Annual Meeting participants to discuss methodologies and trends in cardiovascular imaging and by encouraging members to publish their scientific work in the Society's Journal.
