South Florida Private Practice

State-of-the-art practice in the coastal Southeast Florida area is recruiting an additional subspecialty trained radiologist with at least an interest (and preferably expertise) in cardiac imaging. This opportunity will allow you to perform a significant portion of Cross-sectional/ Body/ Cardiac Imaging, in a congenial, stable, private practice of 20+ radiologists. The group provides exclusive services at one 400 bed hospital, is contracted to read for several imaging centers and has two joint-venture imaging centers, too. There are several active expansion opportunities currently underway, too! The emphasis and concentration will be within the cardiac imaging realm, but any additional abilities would be a plus. High-end Nuc’s and PET, mammo and IR are not at all necessary as there are separate sections for those areas. Equipment is state-of-the-art: A Siemens 64-slice CT and 16-slice scanners are in place. The new Dual Source CT is being installed this fall! There are also three 4-slice scanners and three helical scanners. For MR, they have the latest platform 1.5T’s. There are also two Symphony, one Harmony, and two Phillips units including the Integra. The Ultrasound equipment is predominately ATL. They are fully digital and utilize voice recognition. Another MR and CT are being installed this year. The group is more than competitive for the region with their initial compensation and is offering a flexible partnership track, negotiable based on your experience and skill set. Benefits include: malpractice coverage; up to 12 weeks vacation; generous expense account with a car allowance; medical, dental, life & vision insurance; fully funded retirement accounts and a negotiable relocation package.
