COURSES:

This is a 4-day hands-on Cardiac MRI workshop with
special emphasis on practical aspects of Cardiac MR utilizing the latest
technology (several 1.5 Tesla Avanto MR scanners from Siemens). We cover
basic and advanced Cardiac MR pulse sequences, myocardial perfusion and
viability imaging and coronary MRA, . We teach the practical aspects of
cardiac MRI as needed to succeed. Every afternoon we have hands-on
workshops during which the participants perform MRI examinations on
volunteers and patients, guided by an experienced team of MR physicians
and technicians. These courses are preceded by a two day workshop on
Coronary CT Angiography (see www.duerinckx.com). (Accreditation: 24 hrs
CME via Novant Health CME or 18.5 hrs Category A credit from ASRT)
This is a 2-day hands-on Coronary CTA workshop with
special emphasis on practical aspects of cardiac CT utilizing the latest
technology (a 64-slice Somatom CT scanner, Siemens). Most of the course
will consist of hands-on scanning of patients and volunteers and
extensive work on several 3D Workstations.(Accreditation:
14 hrs CME via Novant Health CME or 8.5 hrs Category A credit from ASRT)
